Today I am reprinting a story I wrote last year at this time. The message is as apt this year as it was last. We are all, together, trying to shake off those things we have accumulated but are no longer necessary. This Spring, we are invited to call on the help of nature to assist us. What stories are ready for revisioning with the wiser eyes of love and experience?
As we worry and pray for the people of Ukraine, the Fierce Mother (who lives inside each one of us) reminds us: we are whole and capable. She knows that our gifts, and the wisdom we have gained from our wounds, are needed to heal the wounds of the world. There is tremendous power when many reject the notion that they are alone and powerless. Our prayers and attentive actions are influential to this situation.
The essences I make for people are designed to suggest the messages/truths behind our words and feelings. I have been making essences for people for just this thing for almost 30 years. But listening for the message behind the words is much harder to do on the fly while in conversation, particularly one that evokes strong emotions.
Why do conversations seem trickier now? And what can we do about it so we can preserve our sanity?!
